Jay County High School Students - Will you accept the Challenge?
The High School Innovation Competition is for Jay County High School students in grades 9 - 12. The mission is to design and present a new or improved invention or innovation. To help you with you innovations, workshops during school hours will be conducted and mentors will be assigned to bring your ideas to reality.
The top innovators will display their innovation during a Community Innovation Fair during school hours on Friday, May 3, 2019. The innovation winners will be chosen by a panel of judges based on your innovation idea, presentaion and display at the Community Innovation Fair.
The competition is open to individual students or a team of three or less students.
GRAND PRIZE: (1st place ) - $500
RUNNER UP: (2nd place) - $250
2nd RUNNER UP (3rd place) - $100
Presented by the Jay County Chamber of Commerce Foundation and sponsored by the Walmart Foundation, Portland, Indiana Store.
