Job Title: Feed Mill Production

Employment Type: FULL TIME   

Salary Basis: HOURLY

 

Job Description:

OBJECTIVE:  Maximize production while maintaining the highest quality feed we are capable of producing.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.  Is concerned that the highest quality finished feed is leaving the mill.
2.  Maximizes the mill’s feed production through cooperation with fellow workers
3.  Works closely with maintenance to perform preventative maintenance
4.  Follows established feed mixing procedures.
5.  Follows all safe food/safe feed guidelines.
6.  Uses full capabilities to achieve desired results.
7.  Takes initiative to see that the right things get done.
8.  Assists in keeping the mill clean and organized.
9.  Maintains a good positive attitude toward manager, other employees, and the company.
10.  Maintains a good attendance record and reports to work on time.
11.  Helps keep inventories accurately and properly rotated.
12.  Reports potential safety hazards to management.
13.  Fills out all required paperwork neatly and completely.
14.  Is courteous to customers and greets them with a positive attitude.
15. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
16. Maintains an active interest in performance level.

*This is a 2nd shift position*

 

Skills Necessary:

Must be detail oriented, work well with others, and lead by example. 
Maintenance experience a plus.
